The powerful, 2400W variable speed Rutlands® router motor is designed and engineered specifically for use with router lifts. The variable speed control NVR switch provides full, external control of the router motor and features both a speed control knob for fine speed adjustment between 10,000 to 21,000rpm, and a built-in NVR switch, providing a safe, convenient way to control power to the motor. For added piece of mind, in the event of a power cut the power will remain off and the router motor will not restart until you press the green 'On' button once again.
The motor features an intelligent torque control system, ensuring that the rotational speed remains constant and preventing the motor from slowing under load, no matter what diameter of router bit you are using or how hard the wood, resulting in a superior workpiece finish. With soft start technology, the router motor gradually increases the speed from zero to the desired level for a safer, more enjoyable routing experience. The integrated air cool system delivers a constant flow of fresh air, preventing the motor from overheating when installed within the Rutlands® dust box or dust cabinet, or within a close-sided router table. The dust protection system prevents dust from causing damage to the motor to ensure a long trouble-free life and the precision machined spindle bearings are guaranteed for ultra smooth, vibration free rotation.
The variable speed control NVR switch features a robust, all steel housing and a hard wearing, black powder-coated finish, mounting directly to Rutlands® router table stands with no modification required. A 1.2m heavy duty braided cable connects the motor to the switch, and a 2.4m cable connects the switch to an external power supply. Supplied with the motor are two ER20 collets (1/4" and 1/2"), precision machined to ensure exceptional balance and concentricity. Optional 6mm, 8mm and 12mm metric collets are readily available. Two large off-set collet wrenches allow for quick and easy bit change over. This motor is engineered to fit all Rutlands® router lifts and any other lift that holds a 106mm diameter body. ©
